How can you make a difference?
To provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health Zanzibar in developing the continuous professional development (CPD) framework and CPD guidelines to institutionalize and operationalize the CPD system in Zanzibar in line with the advancements in the health sector contributing to improved patient care and health outcomes. We are doing this now to help practitioners to respond to changes in healthcare needs, such as emerging public health issues or shifts in population health. Additionally, training in new technologies and practices ensures that healthcare professionals can adeptly use innovative solutions in patient care. ultimately leading to a more effective and responsive healthcare system. The deliverables of this consultancy will be used by the professional associations and councils, Human Resources Managers, CPD providers and health care workers across all service delivery points. The results of the consultancy will drive the following decisions:

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PHD) in public health, health management, human resource management or related field
• 8 years’ experience in healthcare education and professional development, with a focus on CPD for healthcare workers
• In-depth understanding of adult learning principles
• Experience in developing guidelines, frameworks, and training curricula is required
• Familiarity with health systems in Tanzania mainland or Zanzibar is required
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required
• Proficiency in Swahili is an asset
