Academic Positions

Lecturers in Law (3 Positions)

  • The applicant must be a holder of a PhD in Law, an LLM degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0, and an LLB degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5 from institutions recognized by TCU.
  • The applicants must be able to teach law courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Prior experience in university teaching and being an advocate of the High Court will be an added advantage.
  • Applicants with the following specializations will be given preference: Administrative Law and Constitutional Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Civil Procedures, Labour Law, Land Law, Law of Trusts and Succession, Oil and Gas Law and Tax Law.

Assistant Lecturers in Law (4 Positions)

  • The applicant must be a holder of an LLM degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and an LLB degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5 from institutions recognized by TCU.
  • The applicants must be able to teach Law courses at undergraduate and non-degree levels.
  • Prior experience in University teaching and being an advocate of the High Court will be an added advantage.
  • Applicants with the following specializations will be given preference: Administrative Law, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Procedures, International Trade and Investment Law, Law of Evidence, Law of Trusts and Succession, Labour Law, Land Law, Oil and Gas Law and Tax Law and Legal Writing and Drafting.

Assistant Lecturer in Computer Science (1 Position)

  • The applicant must be a holder of a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field from a TCU recognized higher learning institution.
  • A minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 in the Master’s degree and at least 3.5 out of 5.0 in Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  • Proficient in teaching and delivering content.
  • Experience with modern teaching tools, including online learning platforms and virtual labs.
  • Evidence of contributing to research, innovations, or scholarly activities in Computer Science.
