Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Logistics, Business, Management, Administration, or another relevant field.
- Experience with US Government-funded development programs, and knowledge of Federal and AID Acquisition Regulations (FARs and AIDARs) is desirable.
- Possess a certification in procurement and supply management, preferred.
- Excellent management, organizational, computer (especially Excel), and writing skills.

Accountant - PMI Evolve at Abt
Job Description
Job Summary
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the
Accounting functions in support of all project activities following all
relevant US Government and Abt policies and procedures. Under direction
of the Finance and Administrative Manager, the Accountant will record
project financial transactions, post to appropriate projects and tasks,
prepare periodic financial statements and reports, and keep the records
of the accounts books up to date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, business, or another relevant field
- At least 4 years of professional experience in accounting and program fiscal management.
- Experience working at international development programs, with experience at United States Governement-funded programs highly desirable.
- A strong command of financial and other computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Access, etc.
- Well-developed and effective organizational skills, including to ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment
- Experience in payroll management, petty cash management, financial reporting, and budget tracking.
- Experience with inventory management is desirable.
