Procurement Officer at NCBA Bank
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Services, the Procurement Officer is responsible for supporting the execution of procurement functions in alignment with NCBA Bank Tanzania’s policies and procedures.
Job Purpose Statement
The role supports the Head of Commercial Services in executing procurement functions to ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures, driving efficiency, cost savings, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Stakeholder Management The Procurement Officer will liaise with the following key stakeholders to succeed in the role:
- Internal:
- All internal business and support units
- Auditors
- External:
- Vendors
- Regulatory bodies
- Landlords
- Consulting firms
- Auditors
Decision Making Authority / Mandates / Constraints
- The Procurement Officer is empowered to make operational decisions as guided by the line manager.
- The role includes budgetary control responsibility as applicable.
Academic
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline, preferably in procurement, supply chain management, materials management, property management, logistics, or business administration.
