The Human Resources Office of Daqing Oilfield Constructions Group Company Limited (DOCG) informs all Tanzanians with the following qualifications and who are ready to work at the Marine Storage Terminal Project (MST) at Chongoleani to apply.
Position – Electricians (08 post)
Qualifications:
Must be a Tanzanian National.
- VETA Certificate in Electrical Installation / Electrical Engineering (minimum Grade I, II, or III depending on role level)
- Trade Test Certificate (recognized by Tanzania’s Ministry of Labour, Youth, Employment & Persons with Disability)
- Ordinary Diploma or FTC (Full Technician Certificate) in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory for senior roles)
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on industrial or construction projects
- Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with Tanzania’s Electrical Installation Regulations and EWURA standards
- Valid EWURA Electrical Installation License (mandatory – no application will be considered without it)
Responsibilities: –
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with EWURA regulations and company standards.
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in line with OSHA Tanzania safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns quickly and effectively.
- Read, understand, and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Carry out testing, calibration, and inspection of electrical systems to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and records.
- Coordinate with supervisors and project engineers to ensure work is executed according to project schedules.
- Install and maintain power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems in industrial and construction environments.
- Implement strict health, safety, and environmental practices in daily operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices.
