Key Responsibilities
- Compute and file various tax returns, including VAT, WHT, corporate tax, payroll tax, and others.
- Prepare documentation and provide support during tax inspections.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities such as TRA and BRELA.
- Assist the finance team in completing various tax-related tasks.
- Support group companies in their tax compliance and related matters.
- Perform account reconciliations related to tax purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in tax computation, filing, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and regulations.
